Notes from everywhere.
- Alright. Time to go. Syncing the Twitter acct to Facebook. There will be travel spam. Oh yes. Feels strange just up and going like this. #
- The room is cleaned out, bags are packed. Frenetically uploading new music to the ol’ iPhone to keep me company. 2 hours until I leave. #
- Norway has a proud, fiercely independent culture; we draw on this heritage in situations like these (advertising) http://twitpic.com/7we58 #
- Having lunch at Revolver. Mmmm burger. #
- Going out for a few beers with friends before I leave them in favour of trains, more beer, a ton of language studies and awesome food. #
- And that concludes my last day at @TimWendelboe before I leave for China.Going to miss the TW Crew, our lovely regulars, and all the coffee! #
- My seemingly large backpack? Not so much. Christ. Time to do some triage; necessity is rearing its ugly head - and still no coffee packed… #
- The iPhone 3.0 software has bugs with Chinese pinyin entry, for some “words” over 2 roman characters in length. Fix please! Otherwise happy. #
- Boxes procured, but they’re all wet. Time for a documentary or two while they dry off so I can start packing. Ahead of schedule. I think. #
- Time to get cracking and organize the logistical part of my trip: what to do with all the things I leave behind. Box procurage imminent! #
- Work (fun); Beer (Mikeller’s “Beer Geek Brunch” & Great Divide’s “Old Ruffian”) with @tcvarney; good day all in all. Also: iPhone 3.0. Yay?! #
- With the Russian visa sorted, my passport finally has enough mojo to get me across Asia. Now: haircut; packing lists; laundry; stowing away. #
- Tomorrow will see Michael and me take another stab at obtaining a Russian visa. We hope your prayers will be with us at this difficult time. #
