• Off to the Koster islands of Sweden. There’s a double rainbow (all the way) over Ekeberg. It’s so bright and so vivid. Oh my God. #
• Dinner with two of my brothers. Dongbei style pork belly. #
• Celebrated my birthday with what turned out to be a spectacularly mediocre meal at Cru. But we had a great ‘94 Mosel that saved the evening! #
• I’m 27 today. Years, that is. A little long in the tooth, yes, but not to be gifted anyway. Should I plod or should I hoof it? Yay or Neigh? #
• At the Haruki Murakami talk @Litteraturhuset - the reading was very entertaining; he’s both gracious and funny. #
• The air outside is crisp, refreshing and beautifully cold. Summer is nearing an end. I love this time of year. #
